If you are looking for a fun activity to share with your children this Easter try making a bunny cake! Create a cute Easter Bunny cake with these easy tips!

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • instant cake mix
  • vanilla frosting
  • red licorice
  • candy corn
  1. Step 1

Buy some vanilla cake mix (or whatever your preferred flavor is) and follow the directions on the box to mix cake.

  2. Step 2

Pour mixture into two round pans and place in oven. Once the cakes are done, remove both cakes from pan and allow them to cool.

  3. Step 3

One of the round cakes will be the bunny's "head" and the other will be the "ears" and "bow".

  4. Step 4

Place the round cake on a plate, cut two pieces in the shape of an ear on both sides of the circle. Place one ear on either side of the cake. Place close enough to the bunny head so that they look connected to the head. The remaining cake will be the bow that you will place under the head.

  5. Step 5

Cover the cake ("bunny head with both ears") with vanilla frosting. Use red licorice to make the whiskers, use two jellybeans for the eyes and a candy corn for the nose! Now use the same vanilla frosting and dye it with red food coloring. Frost the "bow" area with this. Now share the cake with all of your friends! Happy Easter!
