Set up a free account in Livestrong.com

Step 2
Download the Livestrong App from the App Store on your iPhone.

Edit Your ProfileSet up Livestrong on your iPhone. Start Livestrong on your iPhone and tap the Account Icon. Edit Your Profile, by entering your height, weight, activity level and what your weight loss goal is. By setting your weight loss goal, Livestrong will automatically tell you how many calories you can eat each day and as you enter food, it will tell you how many calories you have left during the day, as we will see below.

Step 4
Search For FoodTrack your food every day. Tap the Food Icon and search for the food you ate. You can search for just about anything. When you have food at home, type in the name of the item on the box…for example: “Bird’s Eye Voila Family Skillets Garlic Chicken.” See it? You can even type in Costco Samples. If you can eat it, you can likely find it in here.
Remember to select the Period or whether it was Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Also, you should accurately estimate the Serving Size you ate. Be honest with this one. If you are in doubt add more than you think just to be safe. -
Step 5
Tennis Anyone?Keep track of your exercise using the Fitness icon. You can enter your walks, runs, weight lifting session or tennis games you played with your friends. By logging your exercise, Livestrong will automatically subtract the calories you burned.

Step 6
Monitor your progress every day. After you weigh yourself each day, enter your current weight in Livestrong, by tapping the My Weight icon.
