Instructions

    • 1

Pull a 12-inch piece of ribbon halfway through a coated hair band and tie the ribbon into a knot to hold it in place on the coated hair band.

    • 2

Create a loop with one side of the ribbon.

    • 3

Wrap the second ribbon under, instead of over, to tie the bow. Wrapping the ribbon under makes the ribbon stay straight across, instead of having one loop pointing up and one loop pointing down.

    • 4

Open a pair of scissors and lay one of the ends of the ribbon against the sharp blade of the scissors. Press your thumb against the ribbon pressing it onto the blade of the scissors and pull towards the end. This will cause the ends of the ribbon to curl. Repeat this with the other loose end of the ribbon.
