  1. Step 1

    Check out the website Kansas City on the Cheap. (See Resources) This website is maintained by a local bargain hunting diva that lists bargains to be found in Kansas City. This website is all about free and inexpensive things to do and buy in Kansas City.

  2. Step 2

    If you are looking for free tours check out Boulevard Brewing Co., 2501 Southwest Blvd. Kansas City, Missouri; Hallmark Visitors Center, 2501 McGee Tfwy., M.D. #132 Kansas City, Missouri;Harley-Davidson Vehicle and Powertrain Operations, 11401 N Congress Ave. Kansas City, Missouri. (See Resources)

  3. Step 3

    Another cool place to see is the City Hall Observation Deck. City Hall is at 414 E 12th St. Kansas City. Usually only open Monday to Friday, but worth a trip.

  4. Step 4

    If you like music, there is Monday night jam sessions at the Blue Room at 1616 E 18th St. in Kansas City, Missouri. Also, check out free jazz at Jardine’s at 4526 Main Street in Kansas City, Missouri (Check schedule. Many events are free but some have a cover charge.)Tuesdays at noon,Johnson County Community College hosts free concerts by local jazz musicians.
