Things You'll Need:
- 3 very ripe bananas
- 1/3 C canola oil
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 3/4 C whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 C hot water

Step 1
Canola oil works wellBeat canola oil and brown sugar together in a large mixing bowl. Add beaten eggs and mix well.

Use very ripe bananasMash ripe bananas with a fork or other tool until smooth and blend with the oil and sugar mixture.

Alternate while mixingAdd sifted dry ingredients alternating portions with hot water as you blend together. Mix until smooth.

Use metal or glass panBake in greased 9x5x3 glass or metal loaf pan at 325 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Banana bread is finished when toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Great for breakfast (if it lasts that long)Cool on wire rack for 1/2 hour and then remove from pan. Allow to cool a bit longer before slicing with a bread knife. Now you're ready to enjoy your fresh, delicious whole wheat banana bread - especially tasty right from the oven!
