eHow is a popular revenue-sharing website where members can make money by writing how-to articles for practical, everyday tasks. If you're thinking about writing articles on eHow or you're already an eHow member, you'll want to view and perhaps write articles requested by the eHow community. Here's how:

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer with broadband internet
  1. Step 1

Log into your eHow account to go to your eHow member home page. If you aren't a member of eHow and would like to make money by writing short, practical, everyday how-to tasks, registration on eHow is fast and easy.

  2. Step 2

Under Hello (Member Name)!, click the Me tab. You will see your number of articles written, article views, and earnings per month. You will also see your featured articles, recent activity, friends, and notes from friends.

  3. Step 3

Above the Friends section is a section called Write this Article. You will see a scrolling box displaying article titles to which the eHow member can write.

  4. Step 4

Click View All to go to the Top Requested How To Articles page. These in-demand articles are requested by the eHow community and are vetted by eHow editors in terms of topic and quality.

  5. Step 5

If you see an eHow title you would like to request yourself, click Request It in the bottom of the blue request tally box on the left side of any given title. You will see the number of requests go up by one.

  6. Step 6

To write to the eHow title, click the title link or click the Write It! button on the right-hand side.

on 3/31/2009 I wrote to eHow, asking if they could add to the 24 hour time limit, as I wasn't able to finish a particular article before it would go back into the "pile." They said they had already changed it to 48 hours. However, the article I had chosen cycled back to the "pile" after 24 hours. I don't know if this will change soon.
