Step 1
Get your baby on a schedule. Try to have a regular sleep schedule for your baby so that their mind gets used to going to sleep at certain times of the day. If your baby sleeps whenever they want, it will be much harder to get your baby to sleep when you want them too.

Do not let them sleep all day. Play with your baby and make sure that they are active during the day so that they are more tired at night. If you let your baby sleep all day, don't plan on getting much sleep at night.

Step 3
There are many tools you can use to help your baby go to sleep. Try using a bouncer, swing, soothing music or even drive your baby around the street in the carseat. All of these things will help your baby fall asleep for the night. You can purchase any of these items at any walmart or baby store.
