Make your own scented or unscented massage lotion. A massage is a calming and skin soothing treatment. You can even add your own favorite fragrance. Having a massage with your own homemade massage lotion will save you some money.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 -2 Tbs. bee's wax
  • 3/4 c light vegetable oil
  • 1/8 tsp. Vitiam E oil
  • 1/8 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp.fragrance oil
  • 1/4 distilled water
  • plastic containers with lids
  1. Step 1

In a microwave in a bowl melt the bee' s wax microwaving for 30 seconds. Add all oils except the fragrance oil and stir well. Microwave the bee' s wax and oils again. Keep melting and stirring for 30 seconds each time until all the wax is melted and mixed well with the oils.

  2. Step 2

In a different bowl mix the water and baking soda together. Heat these ingredients until boiling. Then pour all of the mixture together and blend with a blender or whisk. Let the mixture start cooling and it will thicken up. As it cools add your fragrance oil into the mixture blending well.

  3. Step 3

Pour into plastic containers and put lids on. Your massage lotion is ready to use. Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • Use fragrance oil that is made for cosmetics
  • Store in the refrigerator if not using soon then warm up to room temperture or slightly warmer when ready to use
  • Plastic bottles can be purchased at your local craft store
  • If the lotion is too thick for you add a little more oil and water
