How to Keep Your Keyboard Clean

If you use your computer a lot the keyboard is bound to get dirty. There are a few simple ways you can clean your keyboard and keep it clean.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Piece of Fabric
  • Baby wipe
  • Small paint brush
  1. Step 1

    Turn your keyboard upside down to remove any lose debris.

  2. Step 2

    When the computer is turned off, take a baby wipe or other cleaning wipe and gently wipe off the surface of the keyboard. Do not spray any liquid directly on the keyboard

  3. Step 3

    Take a small paint brush and clean in between the keys. Loosen up the hair and dust and other debris. It maybe necessary to repeat step one if you are unable to remove it.

  4. Step 4

    Take a small piece of cloth, the size of the keyboard and cover it when it is not in use.

  5. Step 5

    Avoid eating and drinking when using your computer. It may be helpful to wash your hands before touching your keyboard to remove any unnoticeable grime from your fingers.
