Make St. Patrick's Day Drinks

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year with some fun St. Patty's drinks and cocktails!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • See individual recipes!
  1. Step 1

    The Emerald Isle

    2 oz. gin
1.5 tsp. green crème de menthe
    2-3 dashes bitters

A St. Patrick's celebratory martini, the Emerald Isle is made adding all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, shaking well and straining into a cocktail glass.

  2. Step 2

    Irish Coffee

    1.5 oz. Irish whiskey
    About 6 oz. coffee
    Sugar (preferably brown!)
    Heavy Cream

Fill a mug about 2/3 to 3/4 full with very hot, fresh coffee. Add the whiskey and at least one teaspoon sugar, more if desired. Stir until sugar is dissolved, then pour cream over the back of a spoon held just above the coffee (to add the cream gently) to top it off. Do not stir, and enjoy!

  3. Step 3

    The Irish Flag (shooter)

1 part green crème de menthe
    1 part Irish cream
    1 part Grand Marnier

Show some patriotism for St. Patrick's Day! Into a cordial glass or shot glass, add the crème de menthe. Then pour the Irish cream slowly over the back of a teaspoon and into the glass. Finish by pouring the Grand Marnier slowly over the back of the spoon and into the glass. The result is a layered shooter in the colors of the Irish flag. Just make sure to follow the proper order!

  4. Step 4

    St. Patrick's Green Cocktail

    1 oz. green melon liqueur
    1 oz. whiskey sour mix
    1.5 - 2 oz. Sprite

Pour all ingredients into a highball glass with ice, stir.
