2 cups bonemeal
2 cups wood ashes

Step 3
When you are ready to fertilize your plants, you will want to use an old fork and scratch the surface of the soil in your pot. Sprinkle the fertilizer around the plant and gently work it into the soil with the fork.
You will want to use 1 teaspoon per 6-inch pot. You will want to fertilize your plants every 6 to 8 weeks. -
Step 4
Keep all unused fertilizer in a container with a lid. Make sure to label it.

Step 5
This next recipe is for a Vinegar Tonic Tea that you will use on your houseplants. If you have hard water, then the alkaline levels might not be giving your plants the nutrients they need. A little vinegar tea will do the trick.

Step 6
Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar (5% acidity)
1 Gallon water -
Step 7
Pour the vinegar into the water and mix. It is safe to use this Vinegar Tonic Tea every time you water your plants.
