Instructions

    • 1

Call the delivery company and ask what equipment they will be using to deliver your manufactured home and how much room they will need to maneuver. Verify the roads to your land can accommodate the delivery.

    • 2

Select and clear the site for your home. Choose a spot that is relatively level. If the land isn’t level, have the site graded. Add fill dirt, if necessary. Clear the site of trees and rocks.

    • 3

Compact the soil if fill dirt was added to prevent settling after the home is delivered and setup.

    • 4

Grade the soil around the house so there is enough slope for water to run away from the house. The grade should allow water to travel at least 10 feet away from the house to prevent flooding.
