Plan a St. Patrick's Day Party

St. Patrick's Day is a day of fun, drinking and traditional Irish spirit. Plan your St. Patrick's Day party with ease and class and make it the event of the year!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

If buying the invitations is too costly, make them yourself! Print a large shamrock onto white cardstock, with the party details printed on the back. Cut out the shamrock and apply green glitter with rubber cement.
*Allow to dry completely before placing into an envelope!

  2. Step 2

Decorate the space, big or small, with green lights and balloons. Let the balloons rest on the ceiling with gold strings hanging down.
Place gold coin chocoloates onto the tables with white tablecloths and green (unscented) candles.

  3. Step 3

For refreshments, offer up green beer, pints of Guiness, and lime sherbet punch (for underage guests). Also offer traditional Irish foods such as Irish Soda Bread, Colcannon and Corned Beef & Hash.

  4. Step 4

Make sure to play traditional Irish music such as "An Irish Lullaby" and "Oh, Danny Boy". You can find many affordable Celtic and Irish Pub CDs- perfect for any theme party, or download and mix them yourself.

  5. Step 5

Send your guests home with green gift bags filled with party favors. Include a roll of Irish Soda Bread, gold coin chocolates and a rolled map of Ireland.

Tips & Warnings
  • As with any party, the key is to have fun and stay safe. Drink responsibly and use caution!
