Things You'll Need:
- Nylon bristle brush, alkaline cleaner, water,spray bottle, clean bucket, sponge.

Step 1
Before CleaningMix your alkaline based cleaning solution to the specifications as given in the solutions instructions. Using a plastic spray bottle, spray a moderate amount of the cleaner on a 4- 9 square foot area. Let sit for 2-3 minutes.

Step 2
Using the nylon brush (appx 3x5) scrub the tiles in a circular motion and then in an up and down motion.

Step 3
After CleaningOnce you have sufficiently scrubbed your tile use a sponge and a bucket of fresh water to clean up the area of the tile that you have just cleaned. Remember to frequently change the water used for rinsing.

on 3/18/2009 My husband and I are getting a little older and being on the knees for periods of time isn't as easy as it used to be. Not that we are 100 or anyting, but I think many would agree if they have tried cleaning and sealing grout on their own that it is no easy task. Shannon and Wayne of PVG came into our home and transformed our flooring. They cleaned each section, stained all the grout lines to match our tile, and left us with the instructions as to future maintenance. Not only were they personable, but passionate about their trade.
