How to Make a Necklace With a Guitar Pick
Many guitar players and music fans like to wear guitar pick necklaces as a way of saying "I rock." With the many colors and designs available on guitar picks, the door is wide open for creating a fun and unique fashion statement by wearing a necklace made of a guitar pick. With a few simple tools and a little patience, you'll be on your way to cranking out a plethora of guitar pick necklaces for you and your friends.
Things You'll Need
- Guitar pick
- Drill
- Drill bit (1/4" or smaller)
- Necklace cord (hemp, leather or dog tag necklace)
Instructions

Place the pick on a scrap piece of wood and secure in place using a clamp or tape.

Using the drill and drill bit, drill a hole in the center or top of the pick. If the hole is located opposite the point, the point will hang down and the pick will sit "upright."

Remove the pick from the wood block and remove any plastic left hanging on the pick.

String the necklace cord through the hole and tie around your neck.
