How to Play War with Playing Cards

Has there ever been a time when you were bored out of your mind and needed something enteraining to do? Well here's a game for two that will keep you entertained. Simple to learn and fun to play. May the best player win! Does this Spark an idea?

  • Deck of Playing Cards (52)

Instructions

    • 1

      Get a deck of 52 playing cards. Deal out the cards one at a time to you and the other player. Repeat this until the cards are all dealt out. Each player should have 26 cards each.

      Put all cards face down. Each player flips over one card. Whoever has the highest value of card gets to keep the two cards. The value of least to highest is as follows: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,J,Q,K,A. Repeat this step until one player has captured all the cards.

      If the two players flip over a card that is the same value such as two Aces, then each player will deal out three consectutive cards face down. Then each player will flip over another card. Whoever has the highest value gets to keep all cards dealt out.

Tips & Warnings

  • This game is full of ups and downs just like war. One second you are winning then the next you may be losing.

  • Everytime you win a group of cards put them at the bottom of your deck.

  • Be prepared for the game to last a while.
