Get Beautiful Curls

Regardless of if your hair is naturally curly or naturally straight you can easily get beautiful curls. Here is how.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First wash and dry your hair. Comb your hair out well to ensure that you get all the tangles out and then make a part. You can put the part anywhere but typically putting it a bit off center looks better.

  2. Step 2

Next take a leave in conditioner and rub it through the hair and then comb it. This gives some added weight and a bit of stickiness that will help the hair hold the curlds.

  3. Step 3

Now take a curling iron and curl one inch sections of your hair. In order to do this you will want to keep the barrel at the roots of your hair and wind the hair around it. You want to hold it for approximately 5 seconds. Now you want to take a bobby pin and pin it up while keeping it curled. You continue this through your hold head. Once your hair is cool you can unpin the curls.

  4. Step 4

Now take your hairbrush and spray it with a strong hold hair spray. Use the hairbrush to gently brush out the curls and style.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use a prestyling lotion to protect the hair from heat.
  • Spray with a shine spritz.
  • Add some conditioning lotion if, like me, you have really fine hair. It will help with blow aways.
