Things You'll Need:
- wood glue
- wooden dowels
- a chair or ladder
- drill w/bits
- cutting utensil
- maybe a friend to help
-
Step 1
Figure out what size dowel you will need for the door hinge. I took the screw along for reference to size. I chose a dowel slightly smaller then the screw. I put the wood glue in to the screw holes on the door frame. Then, I placed the dowels in the holes and cut off the excess. I used utility scissors from the kitchen.

Step 2
Then, you wait until dry, at least 24 hrs. If this step is skipped, then the weight of the door will pull the screws straight from the holes in the frame. It may even take a bit longer to dry depending on the size of the holes in the door frame.

Step 3
Next, you drill holes into the filled hole in door frame. One size smaller than the dowel. Finally, screw door hinge back into wall, and hang the door back up. This is where the friend comes in handy.
