How to Make a Balloon Twist Dog

For some people twisting balloons is scary but this simple balloon dog is as easy as can be. Never fear the unknown embrace it.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 Balloon Pump even a ball pump works
  • 1 sharpie to draw face and designs
  1. Step 1

    Blow up a brown or white balloon until you have a 5 inch portion left
    uninflated.

  2. Step 2

    Twist a 2 inch bubble that will become the nose

  3. Step 3

    While holding the nose to your hand with your pinky, twist two 2 inch bubbles. Then fold these 2 balloons together, the top of the second balloon bubble meets the bottom of the third balloon bubble, twist them together to lock them to form a dogs head.

  4. Step 4

    Now you will have to twist a 1 inch bubble to form the dogs neck. Hold the neck to your hand using the pinky for easy twisting the other bubbles with thumb and index fingers.

  5. Step 5

    Twist two 2 inch bubbles. Then fold these 2 balloons together, the top of the fifth balloon bubble meets the bottom of the sixth balloon bubble, twist them together to lock them to form the dogs front feet

  6. Step 6

    Twist a 4 inch bubble to form the back. Remember to hold the body to your hand using the pinky when done twisting it.

  7. Step 7

    Twist two 2 inch bubbles. Then fold these 2 balloons together, the top of the seventh bubble meets the bottom of the eighth bubble, twist them together to lock them to form the dogs back feet and the tail.

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember to always twist your balloons in the same direction (Clockwise or counter clockwise. Twist from the tied end so the air inside will move to uninflated end. Twist the balloons so that they can be held with the thumb along with the index and middle fingers Also use the pinky to hold the balloons to the bottom of your hand after you have completed a section of the body
  • Never twist balloons with your mouth unless you are a professional
  • Never twist around kids under 5 or around pets
  • Never twist balloons near face
  • Do not twist if it is over 85 degrees as the balloons will pop
