First you place a bet on the pass line and then after a point is established you can bet on the free odds box of an amount equal to that of the pass line bet you made. If the point then comes you will win twice and also get the odds of the point. So, if the point is 4 or 10 the payout is 2 to 1. If the point was a 5 or 9 it pays 3 to 2, 6 or 8 pays 6 to 5.

This is the strategy to win at craps at the casino and to just keep you in the game longer. Do not think that you are at the casino to win money. If you do then great, but overall you are going to lose money. Just don't lose more than you can afford to lose.
