How to Smell Good All the Time

Taking a shower or bath every few hours is not realistic for most of us, so what steps can we take to smell good all the time without constantly bathing?
Here are a few things you can do. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

The first and most important step is to watch what you eat; Fruits and vegetables can be helpful (organic is even better). Many of the ingredients in foods have pungent odors when digested by the body.

    • 2

In addition to the above, chewing on various spices can be easier, cheaper, and even more effective than mints and chewing gum. Some recommended spices include mint leaves, sage, and carraway seeds. Other cures include lemon wedges and hot tea.

    • 3

Another cure for bad breath is to keep some food in your stomach at all times. Eat healthy snacks throughout the day, and eat less for meals. When your stomach is empty, your breath gets worse.

    • 4

Sometimes body odor is related to a zinc deficiency, so be sure that you are getting enough zinc in your diet.

    • 5

Sprinkle baking soda on the interior of your clothes. This helps in the event of modest sweat. It won't do much if you plan to go for a brisk jog, but if you walk up a flight of stairs in a warm building, the baking soda will help keep you fresh.

    • 6

Wash your feet well daily, and dry them thoroughly before putting socks on. Take your shoes off whenever you can to help your feet breathe. Wear cotton socks if you can, or better yet, wear sandals, flip flops, or some other open shoe.

Tip specifically for men: trim your body hair. You don't have to shave your legs or anything, but a lot of body hair creates more sweat.

If these don't help, you may possibly need to order a prescription soap.

Tips & Warnings

  • Just like most things, this will usually take some time. Don't expect overnight results, but some of the tips should be able to help you today.

Nice information - esp. the baking soda. Also, an idea is to use lotion under your armpits, chest, etc. I wear Obsession and so I use the Obsession lotion first, then my deoderant and perfume - it makes the fragrance last longer.5*
