How to Plan a Fundraising Fair
A fundraiser fair can be a perfect way to drum up some money for your group organization, whether it is a community church or library. A fundraising fair can have any theme to it, as long as it is a day dedicated to raising money through some sort of community effort. There are many types of fundraisers you can pick from, like a car wash or bake sale, but some universal planning strategies apply.

1
Recruit some volunteers to help with the planning, and for the actual day of the fundraiser fair.
-
2
Host a meeting with the volunteers to determine what type of fundraising you will have. Delegate jobs to different volunteers. For instance, put one person in charge of getting supplies and another person in charge of the finances.
-
-
3
Choose a venue for the fundraiser, making sure you have enough space for the type of event you are hosting. For example, a craft fair will need space for booths and a bake fair may need an oven nearby.
-
4
Get the word out about your fundraiser, letting the community know where and when it will take place. Put up flyers at local businesses or take out an ad in the local paper.
-
5
Purchase all the supplies you'll need for the fundraiser and make sure they are organized for the big day.
-
6
Make a schedule of what needs to happen at the fundraiser, so all the volunteers know what they need to do, and at what time they need to do it.
-
7
Set up all of the supplies and decorations on the morning of the event. Have a checklist nearby so you know you haven't forgotten anything.
