2. Pick up the tweezers and squeeze them together, the prongs should have a gentle spring action, and the tips should meet perfectly when pressed together. They should also feel comfortable for you to grip, some have a wider grip area or rubber on them so they won't slip out of your fingers.

3. Choosing the style of the tips is a personal preference. The most popular style is the slant tip because you can use the slant side for most tweezing and then turn and use the higher side of the slant for more precision. Point tip tweezers are good for stubble and removing ingrown hairs.
