How long did it take you to find the best fitting swimsuit? You can literally spend hours in dressing rooms trying on numerous swimsuits to find the perfect one. It is a good idea to find the swimsuit that points out all of your good features, and minimizes the negative about your body.

Many good quality swimsuits are expensive and it does take effort to keep them looking great all summer long. With proper care your swimsuit can last for several seasons. Here are a few tips to help you care for women's swimsuits.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1
    Hand Wash

    Hand Wash

Wash your swimsuit by hand. Your fabric care label may say the machine washing on delicate is okay. Washing your swimsuit in the washing machine will lessen the amount of time your swimsuit will look new.

  2. Step 2
    Detergent

Use a detergent that is made for delicate fabrics. If you are using a powdered detergent, let it fully dissolve in your washing water before adding your women's swimsuit.

  3. Step 3

Avoid at all cost putting your women's smimsuit into the clothes dryer. Instead, hang your swimsuit to dry. If you are drying outside, aim to dry outside when the sun's rays are at it's highest. Such as early in the morning or in the cool of the day outside of direct sunlight. Or you can hang your smimsuit to dry in your laundry room.
