Speaking the Spanish language is becoming more and more essential, as Hispanics make up 15% of our nation's current total population. Being able to speak Spanish makes one a more competitive employee, a highly sought after job seeker, and a smooth traveler. Here are some tips that make learning to speak Spanish easier.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

To learn Spanish quickly and easily, start labeling your environment. Label your household items with Spanish words and keep a list of grammar rules some where convenient like your purse, your car, or your bedside, so that you can easily access it and study Spanish every time you have a spare minute.

  2. Step 2

To speed up the process of learning Spanish; read aloud. Reading Spanish aloud makes different parts of your brain work to engrain those spanish words into your memory, and you are more likely to catch errors in your Spanish pronunciation than if you were reading silently.

  3. Step 3

Make flash cards to help you study Spanish. Just writing the Spanish words onto the flash cards is good practice; going through them repeatedly in practice will only make your Spanish speaking that much stronger.

  4. Step 4

Learn with a friend. One of the best ways to learn a foreign language is to use it in conversation. Having a friend to speak Spanish with is great practice and also someone to hold you accountable in your progress in your Spanish lessons.

  5. Step 5

Learn Spanish online. There are many websites that offer to teach people Spanish, many are free and they contain extensive Spanish dictionaries that will help in the learning process.
