How to Make Cell Phone Ringtones

Don't you want your own personal free cell phone ringtones? Well instead of having to download cell phone ringtones, you should try to make your own ringtone! It is quick and easy.

Making mobile ringtones is easy. You don't have to choose what someone else wants nor do you have to pay anyone. You get to pick your own cell phone ringtone and its free!

I have done this on many Verizon phones focusing on Samsung phones but it has been replicated on other Verizon phones. I am not sure about AT&T and Tmobile but they may have a similar feature.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• computer or cd player or stereo
• cell phone

1. On your phone, you have to have the picture messaging function enabled. In order to make your own cell phone ringtone, it uses the picture message function. You don't actually need to have any pictures.

2. Goto send picture message. Enter your own phone number. You can add text or a picture if you want but its not necessary.

3. Goto the sound heading. Press sounds, then record new. Record the sound, then press okay. Go back to the text message and hit send.

4. You should receive the message soon. When you do, press open. The sound will be embedded in the picture. Hit the options button, then save as ringtone. Save it, then switch your ringtone. There you go!
