1. Research the company's products. Are they in line with your beliefs and needs? Decide if natural products are what you will use and be comfortable selling.

2. Review the payment structure. They range from matrix structures to cells and legs. They can be confusing. Some structures allow you to begin earning immediately, while others require performance levels before earning.
   A matrix begins with you, then either two to five members are placed beneath you and so on down a given number of levels. Cells and legs are fairly similar, with two people under you and each side developing separately. These are the two most commonly used payment structures.
