How to Make a Pinwheel From Pencil and Paper

  1. Making the pinwheel

      Take your 4-by-4 inch square piece of paper and fold it in half. You'll then have a triangle.

      Fold the paper triangle in half.

      Unfold the the paper. Cut the paper with scissors by using the folds as guidelines. Leave an 1 1/2 inches in the middle of the paper uncut.

      Fold 1/3 of each triangle over. You may want to use tape to reinforce the fold so your pinwheel doesn't break apart

      Get your straight pin and pencil. Put a pin through the middle of the paper pin wheel and stick it into the eraser head of the pencil. Your pinwheel is ready!
