Instructions

    • 1

Spray the rubber spatula with cooking spray. This will help keep the ingredients from sticking. Place the lemon juice, sugar and honey in the bowl, and mix well.

    • 2

Place the bowl in the microwave, and cook on high for 2 1/2 minutes. It should be bubbly and smooth. If not, put in for another 30 seconds. Mix well.

    • 3

Allow the mixture to cool. It should be warm to the touch but not hot. This will take 25 to 30 minutes. If it becomes too cool, put it back in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds.

    • 4

Clean the area where the hair will be removed. Dry thoroughly with a towel. Dust the area with baby powder or cornstarch to absorb any oil.

    • 5

Use a wooden stick to spread the wax over the hair to be removed. Lay a hair-removal strip over the wax, and rub down in the direction of the hair growth.

    • 6

Pull the skin tight with one hand, and quickly pull off the strip in the opposite direction, in one fluid motion. Continue steps 4 through 6 until all hair has been removed. Rub down the area with aloe vera.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remove any residue with warm water.

  • Do not go over an area more than once in 24 hours. It can damage the skin.
