Instructions

    • 1

Buy chocolate cordial candy molds online (see Resources below), or at a store such as Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They shouldn't cost more than $4 per sheet.

    • 2

Melt one bar of Hershey's chocolate for every dinner guest in a microwave safe dish. Heat in the microwave for one minute and stir. Continue cooking in 30 second increments until completely melted.

    • 3

Pour the chocolate in to the chocolate cordial cup molds. Fill each one half way with the chocolate.

    • 4

Use a brand new paint brush (set aside to be used for only this purpose) to brush chocolate on the sides of the top half of the chocolate, which resembles a half-full shot glass once removed from its chocolate cup mold.

    • 5

Place your chocolate cordial cup molds in your refrigerator uncovered for a total of ten minutes.

    • 6

Remove the chocolate cordial cups from their molds. If they don't pop right out for you, hold a little warm water underneath until it slides out.

    • 7

Fill the chocolate cups with your favorite filling. This could be cherry filling for a cherry pie, peanut butter to make a peanut butter cup, or some melted caramel. The possibilities are endless.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate for a whole new flavor.

  • Use white chocolate with a dark filling for contrasting colors.

  • You may need to re-heat the chocolate in the microwaveable bowl if you don't work fast enough.
