The Panasonic Light Tower is a VCR remote that allows you to control the TV and other components of your home entertainment system. Not all components will be compatible with the universal codes in the Light Tower, but most of the major electronics brands will work.
Step 1
Press and hold the button on the Light Tower that corresponds to the system you want to control.

Enter the corresponding code (found in the manual or in the instructions listed under Resources, below) while holding down the button.
Step 3
Release the button and test it by pressing the power button.
Step 4
Enter the next code if the power button did not work. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 until the remote works.
Step 5
Test to make sure the other functions, such as volume and mute, also operate. Sometimes the power will work, but the other functions will not. If this happens, try another code.
