How to Make Decorations With Footprints for a Baby Shower

Decorating for a baby shower can be a blast, especially when you have unique decorating items. Memorable footprints are a significant part of having a new baby, so why not decorate the event space with hanging footprints? Here are pointers for making your own little festive footprints.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Card stock Hole punch String
  1. Step 1

    Open a blank letter sized page in Photoshop.

  2. Step 2
     

    Choose any color for the footprints.

  3. Step 3
     

    Use the shape tool to draw a large footprint. Be sure to make it big enough to fill the document.

  4. Step 4

    Go to "Image" and "Duplicate Image."

  5. Step 5
     

    Flip the second image horizontally.

  6. Step 6

    Print the first footprint onto card stock using a high quality setting on your printer.

  7. Step 7

    Flip the paper over according to the printer manufacturers directions and replace in the printer.

  8. Step 8

    Print the second footprint onto the back of the card stock.

  9. Step 9

    Cut out around the footprints, leaving about 1 inch of white space all the way around.

  10. Step 10

    Punch a hole into the top of the footprint.

  11. Step 11

    Thread the string or ribbon through the hole.

  12. Step 12

    Hang these footprints for a baby shower from the ceiling using pushpins.
