How to Design Business Cards for Sports

A business card is a great way to supply your information to other people. It is designed for a specific person or purpose. There are a few basic elements that every business card should have. You can customize the design to fit your need. A sports business card is no different. You will need personal information, a picture or logo and a little time to create a design.

  • Personal Information Graphic or photo
  1. Step 1

    Write down the details you want on the card.

  2. Step 2

    Find a picture of the sport involved to include on the card.

  3. Step 3

    Edit the picture. Resize, change the colors and make any other alterations to the picture. Save it.

  4. Step 4

    Choose the color of your business card. Decide if you want to have a basic black-ink card or multicolored one.

  5. Step 5

    Make a draft of your card. Use a word processor or graphics program or simply draw a picture of the design.

  6. Step 6

    Figure out where you want to place the photo. Decide where the personal information will be placed on the card.

  7. Step 7

    Rearrange the elements of the card. Try various positions for the photo and details. Enlarge some of the text, if wanted.

Tips & Warnings
  • Details for a sports business card could consist of your name, title, address, phone and fax number, email address and website. If it is for a specific school, you may want to include that information also. Use free online resources if you do not have any pictures, clipart or graphics for your sports business card. Or you can use a school or team logo for the graphic. Select no more than three colors for your sports business card. It will appear more professional. If your team or school has colors, use those colors for your card. Another idea is to use black ink on colored paper.
  • Do not include too many details that will make the design of the sports business card cluttered. Try various designs with different details on it.
