How to Make Band Flyers for Free

Band flyers help you advertise a show to people who may have never heard of your band and to those who already recognize the name. These flyers can be put on a website or printed and then placed in local venues and music stores. You don't need to purchase a photo editing software program or go to an office supply store in order to make your band flyers. There is a website you can use that makes creating a free band flyer as easy as uploading an attachment in an email.

Instructions

1. Visit the Band Flyers website: www.band-flyers.com.

2. Sign up for a free membership on the website. To do this, click "Membership." Enter your email address in the box on the page. You will receive a confirmation email from Band Flyers. Open the message and click the Activate link. Type in the required information on that page and then submit the information. You will receive a second email from Band Flyers informing you that your account has been activated.

3. Go back to the Band Flyers homepage and click "Log-In" to sign into your account.

4. Click the "Create Flyer" link at the top of the page. Then, click on the "Remove Photo" tab to start with a blank band flyer template.

5. Click on the "Add Photo" tab and a smaller window will open on the screen. Click the "Browse" tab in that window to upload a photo from your computer to the Band Flyers server. After the picture loads, you will see it back on the flyer. You will then be able to click on the picture to reposition it on the flyer.

6. Click on the Info tab. Once you do, you will be able to type in the name of your band, the date of the show and the location of the show. You can also edit the size of the font for each of these by clicking on the Font Size box for each option. Click the Text Color box underneath each heading to change the color of the font.

7. Click the Design tab. Then, click "Select Background Color" to change the color of the band flyer. Click "Select Flyer Border" to add a border to your flyer. This border will go around the picture that you added in Step 5.

8. Click the Save Changes tab above the flyer when you're done editing the flyer. You can then click "Send Flyer" to email the flyer to yourself or somebody else. You can also click "Print Flyer" to print your band flyers immediately.
