Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Socket wrench Screwdriver Visor monitor A/V cable A/V selector box
  1. Step 1

Pop your car's hood and remove the battery cables with a socket wrench. Your car's user manual should show you what size wrench you will need.

  2. Step 2

Using your screwdriver, remove the screws from the mounting brackets on your passenger-side visor. Set aside the screws.

  3. Step 3

    Remove the visor.

  4. Step 4

Retrieve the new visor monitors. The monitors should already be installed in special housing to mount on the visor. Align the mounting bracket to the visor mount. Tighten the mounting screws with your screwdriver.

  5. Step 5

Connect one end of the A/V power cable to the visor monitor, and the other to the A/V selector box. Affix the cable with cable ties to keep them from hanging down too low.

  6. Step 6

Reconnect the car battery cables. Start the engine.

  7. Step 7

Switch the A/V selector box to the visor monitor. If you have done everything correctly, the monitors will turn on automatically.
