Many people create personalized photo cards for Christmas because it saves time and it's fun to see pictures of families and friends. These days, personalized photo cards have become a craze; people are starting to send them for thank you cards, Valentine's Day, birthday invitations and more. You can order personalized photo cards at various photo-sharing websites, or make them at photo kiosks located in stores like CVS or Walgreens.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Photos
  1. Step 1

Upload your photos to a photo-sharing website, such as Snapfish, Shutterfly or Kodak (see Resources). Create an album for your photos.

  2. Step 2

Browse designs for your card, depending upon the occasion. All three websites have hundreds of designs to select from for holidays, birthdays, graduations or seasons. Select the design that best fits your needs.

  3. Step 3

Once you have chosen your design, choose some of your uploaded photos to add to the allotted photo space on the card. Cards have anywhere from one to four photo slots. Add a caption to your photos in the font of your choice

  4. Step 4

Add your own greeting or choose a standard greeting in various font styles. Write a personal closing message and signature for your card.

  5. Step 5

Choose how you want your cards mailed. Shutterfly offers two options; you may either have all the cards sent to you and you can address and mail them yourself, or they will address and mail them for a fee, allowing you to write a personal message on each recipient's card.

  6. Step 6

Preview your card. Make any necessary changes, and save the card in case you want to access it later.

  7. Step 7

Add the card to your shopping cart and specify how many cards you would like to order. Fill out your billing, address and shipping info, and complete the order form. Once you receive your confirmation number, you are all set.
