How to Remove Pepper Flavor From a Food Processor

You can scrub your food processor clean, even run it through the dishwasher, and and still find that stubborn pepper flavor remains. Use this simple formula for eliminating stubborn odors, like pepper, from your food processor and you'll never scrub out odors again.

Things You'll Need

• White distilled vinegar Warm water Liquid dish detergent

Instructions

1. Add one half teaspoon of liquid dish detergent, one half cup of white vinegar, and enough warm water to fill your food processor.

2. Put the top on and turn on the food processor, letting the vinegar solution absorb and eliminate the pepper smell.

3. Rinse well and dry.

4. If the pepper odor persists, refill the food processor with the same vinegar solution but let sit overnight. Repeat above steps the following day and the smell should disappear.
