Trojan horses are a great way to fool your enemies, not to mention a great thing to draw. The Trojan horse was first used by the Greeks, who gave the large, wooden animal as a gift to the residents of Troy. Once the horse was pulled into the city walls, the Greeks hiding inside jumped out and conquered Troy. Nice. A Trojan horse differs from a real horse because it looks somewhat fake, is made out of wood, has wheels on his feet and has little portals where the people hiding inside can peek out.

Instructions

    • 1

Draw a circle for his eye.

    • 2

Make the horse head. Draw a rounded rectangle pointing downward at an angle for the horse's snout. Draw a series of squares connected to a line rounding up and around behind his eye for his mane.

    • 3

Start his body. Draw a line coming down from the bottom of his chin. Connect another line for the front of his front leg. Draw three more lines to complete his front leg and start his back leg. Connect the legs with a line for his belly.

    • 4

Finish his body. Draw a line straight across for his back, connected to a line coming down for his behind. Make a rectangle near his rear for a tail. Draw circles at the bottom of his legs to serve as wheels.

    • 5

Fine tune his legs and wheels. Make two more lines behind his legs to serve as his other set of legs. Top them off with circles for wheels. Shade the wheels by thickening their borders. Shade his eye the same way.

    • 6

Add details. Draw fine lines down his legs, mane and other areas for effect. Draw a line and square for his mouth and nose, respectively. Make at least three little rectangles on the horse's body to serve as portals where all those sneaky Greeks are hiding. Draw little faces with circles and lines for the guys inside the horse.
