How to Ride a Tech Deck Skateboard
From toys to video games, the extreme sport of skateboarding has spawned many different creative outlets for skateboarding fans. None of these are more widely popular than the tech deck skateboard. Tech decks, as they are more commonly referred to, are miniature skateboards that fans ride with their fingers. Although it may seem like a toy, tech decks are used by skateboarding fans of all ages and are even able to perform many of the same tricks as a professional skateboard can create on a regulation sized board.

How to Ride a Tech Deck Skateboard
-
1
Place your index and middle finger on the tech deck. These two fingers will imitate your feet on a regular skateboard. For right handed users, the index finger goes on the front of the board, and the middle finger is used for the back. For left handed users, the fingers simply get reversed.
-
2
Ride the tech deck along the smooth surface by sliding the deck forwards or backwards using the two fingers you placed on the deck in Step 1.

3
Perform an ollie which is the basic move where all other tricks were created. To do this simply lift up your front finger while simultaneously slamming your middle finger down to make the tech deck airborne. Place your front finger back on the board while the tech deck is in mid-air, and land safely back down on the playing surface.
-
4
Do a shove-it with your tech deck by allowing the skateboard to become airborne just as in Step 3. This time do not immediately place your front finger back on the board. Allow the tech deck to make a complete backward rotation before landing back on the surface with your two fingers in their starting positions.

5
Perform a kickflip trick with your tech deck by slamming down the back of the board with your middle finger to get it airborne, and flicking the right tip of the board with your index finger to get it to rotate sideways. After the board has made one rotation, catch it with your two fingers and land it back safely on the surface.
