How to Draw a Witch Pentagram

The pentagram, or pentacle as it is sometimes referred to, is a witchcraft symbol that is more than 8,000 years old. It is thought to provide protection when worn as an amulet and to be able to bring out spirits. A pentagram is an easy-to-draw five pointed star emblem that you can put on your clothing, notebooks and anywhere else you feel like channeling your inner witch.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Draw a circle on the piece of paper.

  2. Step 2

    Imagine the the circle is an analog clock. Put a small tick mark at the position on the circumference of the circle where the number 7 would be on the clock.

  3. Step 3

    Put a tick mark where the number 12 would be on the clock.

  4. Step 4

    Draw a line to connect the two tick marks with the help of a ruler.

  5. Step 5

    Follow steps 2 to 4 to draw a line from the number 12 to the number 5.

  6. Step 6

    Draw a line from 5 to 9.

  7. Step 7

    Draw a line from 9 to 3.

  8. Step 8

    Draw a line from 3 to 7.

Tips & Warnings
  • To make the drawing as flawless as possible, use a compass or trace around the bottom of a bottle or another object with a circular base to help you get a perfect circle.
