How to Make Vanilla Air Fresheners

Rachelle Proulx

Air fresheners are costly and some of the smells are too strong. Why not make natural air fresheners that add just enough perfume to the air without being overbearing. Rooms like the bathroom or kitchen are rooms that always seem to need freshening up.

Make a natural air freshener with vanilla extract or vanilla oil.

You can make a vanilla air freshening bowl that stays in one area or a vanilla air freshening spray that you can spray throughout your home. These simple vanilla air fresheners will add a pleasant aroma to your home without adding chemicals to the air.

Vanilla air freshening bowl

Use a decorative bowl if placing the freshener on a table.
  1. Find a small ceramic bowl that will fit discreetly in your room. Use a decorative bowl if you want to place it on a table.
