- Flat and Phillips screwdriver Wire cutter and stripper Plasti-caps Caulking and caulking gun

Turn off the main power.

Unscrew the old lights and pull towards you, un-attach the old wires. If this is a new set that you are installing strip the wires about an inch.

Twist together the wires with your new fixture. White wire to white wire, and black wire to black wire. The solid copper wire will screw to the housing of the light. Cap off the connections with plasti-caps.

Screw your new fixture halfway on to the conduit box by turning the two screws clockwise that are on the base of the fixture. You need to keep a space between the light and mounting surface so that you can caulk the space in the next step to create a watertight seal.

Caulk where the light will mount and then screw the light in the rest of the way. Clean up any excess caulking. Turn back on the electricity. Your light is now ready for use.
