How to Remove Lint From Laundry
Though unpleasant, lint--the clumped-together fibers that accumulate in laundry--is entirely avoidable given certain precautions. Often, new tools are not necessary, but new methods and practices of doing laundry are. This means that the cost is negligible when it comes to reducing the lint in your laundry.
The methods of reducing lint from your laundry take some time to get used to, but once they become habitual, your laundry will not take any longer to complete than it did previously.

1
Separate clothes that shed a lot of lint into a separate laundry load. Sweaters, sweatshirts and towels are some items that would go in the lint load.
-
2
Before doing a load of laundry, remove all paper items. Paper items, such as money, receipts and tissue, create large amounts of lint.
-
-
3
Do not make the load too big. If a load of laundry is too big, then there will not be a proper water-to-laundry ratio, and lint will form.
-
4
Ensure that the lint filter is clean. Clean it before and after each use of the laundry machine.
-
5
Put a delinting sheet into the dryer when drying clothing. These sheets, very thin and soft, attract lint and keep it from accumulating on clothing. They can be purchased at most grocery stores.

Tips & Warnings
Periodically cleaning the inside of the dryer itself can help to reduce the amount of lint that lingers on clothing.
If you are allergic to dust, take care when cleaning out the filter. The lint in the filter can provoke allergic reactions.
