Things You'll Need:
- Two whole eggs 1/4 cup wheat germ 1/4 cup orange juice
-
Step 1
Use ingredients that are nutritionally beneficial to your hair such as Vitamins A, C and E. Either go to the library or go on the Internet and do a search for all vitamins that play a role in healthy hair growth and conditioning.
-
Step 2
Egg yolk is an excellent source of Vitamin A.Always use eggs as your main conditioner base. The reason you want to use whole eggs as your base is because eggs contain Vitamins A and B6. Vitamin A is an antioxidant that produces sebum in the scalp. Vitamin B6 prevents hair loss. Your second ingredient should be a Vitamin C ingredient, such as fresh orange juice. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that maintains hair health. Your third ingredient should be Vitamin E-based, such as wheat germ. Vitamin E is essential in providing healthy oil to your hair.

Step 3
Wheat germ for Vitamin ECombine up to three ingredients when creating a homemade conditioner. The reason you want to do this is because by using less ingredients, it will be easier to determine what is and what is not working in your homemade hair conditioner. For instance, if you are not happy with the results you have achieved with wheat germ, substitute it with a quarter cup of avocado. Continue to switch the ingredients around until you have reached the desired results.
-
Step 4
Always measure your ingredients.Combine the following ingredients in a measuring cup to make your hair conditioner: two whole eggs, half cup of fresh orange juice and one quarter cup wheat germ. Whip these ingredients together until frothy. Apply the mixture to your hair and let sit until dry. Once completely dry, thoroughly rinse the mixture from your hair with warm water while gently massaging the scalp. Let your hair dry naturally. Your hair will be extremely smooth, shiny and tangle-free. Use this homemade conditioner twice a week for optimal results.
