How to Round Crochet a Baby Hat
Crocheting in the round can be a bit of a challenge for any crocheter. It is important to have a crochet marker to keep track of your first stitch on every row as you progress with the pattern. You must count each stitch after completing a row to make sure you are counting correctly. It is imperative to change the stitch marker each time you start a new row. It makes the project so much easier when you do these two things. When you learn how to round crochet a baby hat, you will get a good grasp on crocheting in the round.

Tips & Warnings
Crochet the instructions over and over when you see * repeat. If you want a more decorative hat, you can sew tiny pom poms or bows on to the exterior.
Incorrect counts will cause the hat to be out of shape. It is easier to unravel a row or two rather than the entire project.
