How to Make a Housewarming Invitation Card

How to Make a Housewarming Invitation Card

Take a picture of your house with a camera. Scan the picture onto your computer, or import it from a digital camera with a memory card or USB cable.

Open Microsoft Word and go to File-->Page Setup-->Select the Landscape option and click OK. Insert the picture of your house in the center. Print the document on 8-by-11 white or cream-colored card stock paper.

Open a new sheet in Microsoft Word and type the contents of the invitation in the center. Ensure that it will fit into the back of the picture of the house. See the Resources section for ideas on how to word housewarming invitations. Insert the paper that you printed the picture of the house on face down. Click Print to print the contents of the invitation.

Cut the picture of the house out of the paper and insert into an petal-fold enclosure. See the Resources section to where you can buy these. Stick an adhesive in the center where all the flaps meet. Cut a ribbon that fits the width of the enclosure. Put the ribbon around the enclosure and set the two ends on top of the adhesive. Place another adhesive on top of the ribbon where the two ends meet. Stick a craft Gerbera daisy on top.
