Making deep fried chicken is a great way to seal the juice inside your chicken while giving it a crunchy outer coating. Fried chicken is loved by people of all ages and can come in many different recipes. This recipe uses a deep fryer and some special ingredients that make it even more appealing to your taste buds.   • Deep fryer 2 large bowls Freezer storage bag Milk 2 to 3 eggs Vegetable oil Chicken Corn flakes Flour Garlic powder Onion powder Pepper Salt Poultry seasoning

Instructions

      Fill your fryer 3/4 of the way full with vegetable oil and turn it on to high heat. Do this first so that it is ready when your chicken has been coated.

      Combine the following ingredients in a large bowl: 1/2 cup of Kellogg's Cornflakes, 2 cups of flour, 2 tbsp. of garlic powder, 2 tbsp. of onion powder, 1 tbsp. of salt, 1 tbsp. of pepper and 1 tsp. of poultry seasoning. Toss the ingredients until they are combined.

      Rinse your chicken pieces off under cool running water.

      Pour 2 cups of whole milk in to a bowl and place your chicken pieces in it.

      Beat two eggs in another bowl and dip your chicken pieces in it after they have been in the milk. If you have a lot of chicken you may need one or two more eggs.

      Pour some of your dry mixture in a freezer bag and add two pieces of chicken at a time. Close up the freezer bag and toss until the chicken pieces are completely coated.

      Add the chicken to the heated deep fryer.

      Cook the chicken pieces until they are golden brown on all sides. Remove them with a pair of tongs.

Tips & Warnings

  • Coat your chicken twice before frying it if you want it extra crispy.

  • Keep children and pets out of the room when deep frying so that they don't knock over the deep fryer and suffer serious burns.
