Open the zipped driver file, either from the CD that came with the card or by downloading it from the Dell website. It will be called something like wpc11_XP.zip. Windows should automatically unzip it for you and ask you where to save the files. After the process, go to the folder with the files and run setup.exe.

Start the install wizard and follow the prompts, accepting all the default settings except the SSID. Change this from Dell True Mobile to the SSID or name of your network. Restart your computer.

When Windows starts back up. insert the card into the PC slot. When the new hardware wizard starts, select "Install from a specific location" and click "Next." Browse to the folder that has the files you unzipped and select it. Click "Continue" if you get a message about the driver not being signed.

Go to Control Panel, then Network Connections. Right-click on your Local Area Connection attached to your network card. Select "Properties," go to the wireless network tab, and enter the SSID of your local network. Under Network Key, type the WEP key, if there is one.
