How to Print a Coupon Book
All you need to print a coupon book is a printer and some paper to get the job done. There are professional printing companies that can complete the job for you, making glossy, full color, professional coupons such as those for businesses, but that can be more expensive than printing your own. If you are simply making a fun coupon book as a gift, there are many software design templates that make the job even easier.
Things You'll Need

3

Cut out the coupons and stack them together in between a cover and back page. Staple together on the left side of the book twice (about 1/2 inch apart).

To make a coupon book for a business or as a gift without using a ready-made template, you can use almost any publishing program or Microsoft Word to create your own template. First make a rectangular box with the dimensions you desire, using the software. In Word you will simply create a text box.

Select a large enough font that is clear and easy to read and insert text into each coupon. If the coupons are for a business, be sure to include the name of the business, the offer with the discount, the location, contact information, the expiration date and any exclusions or special conditions. If they are for a gift, select coupons that are appropriate for the recipient.

Print the coupons once you have all of them created in the publishing program. Cut out the coupons and use a stapler to staple the books together on the left side.

Tips & Warnings
For ideas of what to offer for "gift coupons" for adults, consider back rubs, dish washing, taking out the trash, washing a car, mowing the grass, running errands, grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, garden help, baby-sitting or cooking.
For kids, some ideas might be a trip to the park, picnic, family game night, breakfast in bed, a chore pass, to have a friend over to spend the night, to pick what the family watches on TV, extra time playing computer or video games or extra time to stay up at night.
Consider printing the coupon book on white paper in black and white ink and allow a child to color in the designs for an extra homemade touch to your special gift.
