How to Make Your Own Egyptian Facial Mask
Beauty supply and drug stores want you to spend lots of money on fancy facial masks, but sometimes that's simply not necessary. You can make your own mask by using basic food ingredients, like the ancient Egyptians did. - 1 egg Table knife Bowl Eggbeater (optional) 1/2 tsp. olive oil 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. milk 1 1/2 tbsp. flour Wash cloth

Crack the egg shell by lightly tapping it with a knife. Empty the yolk and egg white into a bowl.

Use a folk or eggbeater to swirl the yolk and egg white around the bowl until they are evenly mixed together.

Add the olive oil and salt to the mixture and stir well with a knife.

Add the flour into the bowl and stir well.

Add the milk gradually, while continuing to stir. Stir until you have a paste with a consistency that is neither too wet nor too dry. You need to be able to spread the mask on your face and have it stay on without dripping off.

Spread the paste all over your face and neck. To avoid irritation, be careful not to get too close to the eyes.

Leave the mask on for 10 to 15 minutes.

Remove the mask by scrubbing your face with a damp washcloth.
